Actors Training Center (ATC), a not-for-profit acting school, seeks a talented and driven part-time Studio Coordinator to join our team. Actors Training Center has been serving the greater Chicagoland area since 2007. We are the proud recipients of the Illinois Theatre Association’s 2019 Award of Honor. ATC has been a launching pad for many actors currently working in film, television and stage. This is an excellent opportunity to build upon your professional experience in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. You will be a critical team member and will perform a wide variety of creative and administrative projects.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for answering the main phone line and monitoring/ responding to general email inbox. This is a client-facing position. In many scenarios, you are someone’s first introduction to ATC and as such, must reflect the mission, brand, and vision of the school.
  • Aid in registering students for programs.
  • Provide administrative support for the studio such as (not limited to) calendar management (meetings and conference calls), processing registration/payment plans, etc.
  • Assist with data entry and maintenance of several online databases.
  • Prepare rosters and class materials for instructors (must have basic Google sheets formatting knowledge)
  • Maintain and update extensive databases
  • Set up/breakdown studios for classes
  • Work with the board of directors and provide administrative support for tracking of donations, thank you letters, etc.


  • Must have customer service experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience preferred
  • Should have knowledge of how the entertainment industry works/ be familiar with audition procedures, etc.
  • Tech savvy – must know Google Drive (pages, sheets, slides)
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
  • Must be very proactive and energetic, self-led
  • Reliable and detail-oriented
  • Should demonstrate ability to handle and maintain confidential information
  • Must be organized, motivated with superior follow-through
  • Must work well with children

Additional Information:

ATC is located in Wilmette, IL 30 minutes north of the city close to the Linden Ave Purple Line stop and Union-Pacific Northline Metra at Wilmette. This is a hybrid part-time position.Potential candidates must be able to commit to regular Saturday hours and some evenings. ATC is an equal opportunity employer.
