Chicago Opera Theater is seeking supernumeraries for its upcoming production of The Life and Death(s) of Alan Turing; Justine Chen, composer; David Simpatico, librettist; Lidiya Yankovskaya, conductor; Peter Rothstein, director; presented at The Harris Theater.  COT is seeking four male-identifying individuals who are comfortable lifting up to 50lbs and carrying furniture on and offstage. Supers will be costumed in 1940’s casual men’s wear.  Twenty hours of studio rehearsal will be required, times and dates to be between March 1 and March 15, PLUS final hall rung through and all on stage technical rehearsals and performances.  Compensation is $15.40 per hour on a W2, plus two comps to a performance, two comps to final dress, and discounts on other ticket.  Please send a brief summary of your theater/opera experience plus a list of conflicts March 1 – 15 to jobs@chicagooperatheater.org.  No phone calls, please.  Please do not apply if not available for all on stage rehearsals and performances, listed below:

Wednesday, March 15 – 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm (in rehearsal hall)

Friday, March 17 – 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm; 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Saturday, March 18 – 2:00 pm m- 5:00 pm

Sunday, March 19 – 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm; 7:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Monday, March 20 – 2:00 pm – 5:30 pm

Tuesday, March 21 – 7:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Thursday, March 23 – 7:00 pm half hour for a 7:30 pm performance

Saturday, March 25 – 2:30 pm half hour for a 3:00 pm performance
