The professional theatre of the University of Chicago
Through the Court Education Initiative (CEI), Court partners with public schools on Chicago’s South Side to provide high quality theater programs to South Side teens providing a pipeline from the community into the theatre. The Director of Education leads all of Court’s education efforts. Working in tandem with a program team, the Director of Education will be responsible for program development and administration. This is a full-time, salaried, position with excellent benefits. The Director of Education reports to the Director of Engagement.

Education: Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.
Work Experience: Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline. Preferred Qualifications include at least 5 years’ experience implementing arts education programs at the high school level, including some experience on the South Side of Chicago.
