SUMMARY:

Theater Wit seeks an experienced Master Electrician to join our team for our 2023 Season, involving 3 shows starting April 2023 going through January of 2024.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze light plots and current drawings, estimate costs for purchases and repairs with the Production Manager.
  • Provide up to date necessary paperwork within a reasonable amount of time.
  • Hire Overhire Labor for Load-In, Focus, Notes (If needed) and Strike
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager to ensure all purchasing needs are met
  • Oversee and lead lighting load-in/fabrication.
  • Maintain lighting supply budgets and keep accurate records of purchases, submitting in a timely manner to the Production Manager
  • Attend all load-in/load-outs, leading as necessary
  • Work with the Production Manager to ensure stage area is safe, clean, and maintained

QUALIFICATIONS:

Theater Wit requires proof of vaccination for all employees and follows all local, state, CDC and Actor Equity guidelines.
