Bartender/Server

The Revival is a cabaret-style comedy theater in Chicago’s South Loop, presenting live performances, workshops, classes, and summer camps. We aim to create a dynamic, welcoming experience for audiences of all ages.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Bartender/Server serves as the primary front-of-house contact for patrons. The role includes preparing the bar and theater for service, operating the bar, facilitating merchandise and food-and-beverage sales, adjusting lobby lights and music as needed, greeting patrons and artists on arrival, maintaining clean counters and tables throughout the evening, and supporting a positive environment for artists, staff, and guests. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Shifts are scheduled around performance times.

Hours typically fall Thursday through Sunday from late afternoon to midnight, with occasional special-event shifts. Exact start and end times vary with the show schedule. Work is on-site at The Revival, 906 S Wabash Ave, Chicago, IL 60605.

Candidates must be 21 or older. Familiarity with the South Loop is preferred, and reliable transportation is required. An appreciation for the arts, strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, and close attention to detail are essential.

Compensation is $12.62 per hour plus 100% of tips. Employees receive free classes at The Revival for the duration of employment.
