Producing Associate: Marketing & Engagement

The Producing Associate/Marketing and Engagement is responsible for development and delivery of marketing and social media, activities including audience and program engagement, and assists Producing Director in other programming initiatives. This is a part-time position.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing/Social Media

Responsible for the overall coordination for this CPS program funded through restricted education grants.  This includes:
*Works with the EPD to develop and expand audience, supporters and donors;
*Maintains existing and builds new patron and donor relationships;
*Develops cross promotion partnerships with theaters, community organizations and thought leaders
*Create marketing and social media postings; assess social media and tracking
*Maintains theatre’s social media presence with compelling content for website and social networks
*Assists with marketing and fundraising campaigns;
*Reviews and maintains audience/ticketing/donor reports;
*Documents activities on shared drives and calendars;
*Generates final reports;

Audience Services, Development and Engagement
*Coordinates audience engagement and development.  Manage front of house team (e.g., hiring, scheduling and interfacing).
*Provides support to the EPD on developing projects and initiatives
*Creates and coordinates audience development initiatives
*Manages engagement projects and initiatives
*Collaborates with staff on new works, mainstage, event and festival initiatives;

Ideal candidate will bring:
*2-3 years experience in non-profit performing arts and with marketing knowledge
*Enthusiasm
*Social media marketing a plus
*A passion for promoting new work that centers youth writers, black and other poc stories.
*Motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills, follow-though and attention to detail
*Capacity to translate needs and values into strategies
*A sense of humor and a calm confident presence during chaotic periods
*A passion for creative problem-solving and collaboration
