The Theatre Conservatory of the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University is looking for a sound engineer for the 2024-25 school year. This would include:

Sound load in; approximately 4-6 hours depending on the needs of the show

o   10/6/25 – Jesus Christ Superstar

o   11/10/25 – The Misanthrope

o   4/13/26 – Hit the Wall

Band load-in/Wandleprobe for musicals 5:00 PM-10:30 PM

o   10/8/25 – Jesus Christ Superstar

o   4/16/26 – Hit the Wall

Tech for musicals; Friday/Saturday/Sunday

o   10/9/25-10/11/25 – Jesus Christ Superstar

o   11/14/25-11/16/25– The Misanthrope

o   4/17/26-4/19/26 – Hit the Wall

Dress rehearsals

o   10/14/25-10/16/25 – Jesus Christ Superstar

o   11/18/25-11/20/25 – The Misanthrope

o   4/21/26-4/23/26 – Hit the Wall

Strike after final matinee performance, restore the sound to a neutral state; returning all equipment to storage; approximately 2-2 1/2 hours per production

o   10/26/25 – Jesus Christ Superstar

o   12/7/25 – The Misanthrope

o   5/3/26 – Hit the Wall

Knowledge of or ability to learn the Midas M32 sound board is a must. Will be working with and mentoring students.
