Stage Manager

Alphabet Soup is seeking a company stage manager.  The position requires a well-organized individual who communicates in a positive way and maintains an environment of creativity and respect.  Experienced professionals only!

Stage manager duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Drive show truck (12-15-foot U-Haul)
Load-in, set-up and load-out of show
Oversee production: costumes, lights, sound, set, props are placed, and in working order
Communicate to actors’ places, put-in rehearsals, convey director’s notes, schedule changes
Keep records of performers & crew conflicts
Supervise pre-show activities, call-time, sound check & call show
Work with front of house to ensure house is in and show starts on time
Calling technical cues to crew
Work closely with ASM keeping all crew informed of any show changes

This is daytime a.m. work.  Stage manager show pay hours are 9 am-12 noon.  Alphabet Soup tours throughout          the western and southwestern suburbs.  Check absproductions.com BEFORE applying.
