We are seeking a charismatic and creative individual to handle costume design, prop design, and set decoration for the Highland Park Players’ upcoming production of The Lion King KIDS.
We have been generously gifted a large collection of costumes from a nearby middle school, which we are permitted to alter as needed. A handful of props were included as well. We are looking for a true visionary—someone adaptable, imaginative, and excited to bring this production to life in a multi-purpose room performance space. We have 14 exciting young actors to work with, too.
Key Dates:
December 1: First rehearsal
Rehearsals: Mondays and Wednesdays at the West Ridge Center, 636 Ridge Road, Highland Park (right off the highway)
Show run: February 7–15
Packing & Resetting:
Pack everything up on February 8
Return items and reset the space on February 13
Possible additional packing during tech week (details to come)
Strike: February 15
