Website Do Process
for the upcoming generation of theater makers and theatergoers
(out) is a new musical written by Grace Archer, with music and lyrics by Rowen Nowlan, produced by Do Process.
About the show:
In the near future, an intense geomagnetic storm wipes out the Earth’s internet and plunges the population into complete darkness. Five friends must work together through the blistering Southern heat and isolation from the outside world to make it to the next day (or week, or month…). (out) explores queer love, our dependency on the internet, and the difference between existing and living life to its fullest potential.
Schedule:
This is a live reading/workshop with light tech elements.
40 hours of rehearsal (mainly weekday evenings and potentially some weekends) from mid February-mid April.
Performances (2) April 16-17 at the Newport Theater.
*Please note we are a small and young company working to pay artists more as we grow. Other than our venue rental, all donations and revenue go directly back to artists, and all admin are volunteer.
