It takes a village.
The Head of Operations is responsible for supporting the day-to-day logistical and administrative functions of The Village Theater. This role helps ensure that productions, events, and organizational activities run smoothly by coordinating internal processes, managing operational systems, and supporting communication across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and organize the company’s operational systems, calendars, and internal workflows.
- Coordinate logistics for productions, rehearsals, meetings, and company events.
- Support production teams by helping track schedules, resources, and space usage.
- Maintain organizational documents, databases, and shared files.
- Help develop and implement processes that improve efficiency and organization.
- Work closely with artistic leadership to ensure operational needs are met for upcoming projects.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Comfortable with shared digital tools (e.g. Google Drive)
- Interest in supporting a collaborative theater environment.
Time Commitment:
Approximately 3–5 hours per week, with occasional additional availability during production periods.
