Performances: April 21st-May 17th, 2026 (8 Shows Per Week)

Pay: $30/hour

 

Position Overview:
Visceral Entertainment is seeking an experienced Stage Manager to support an upcoming production at the Apollo Theater Chicago. In addition to standard stage management responsibilities, this role will also be responsible for operating the lighting console during performances.

 

Responsibilities:

Oversee and execute all stage management duties during rehearsals and performances
Coordinate communication between creative, technical, and production teams
Call cues and maintain the smooth running of the show
Operate the lighting console during performances
Oversee put-ins of replacement cast members
Maintain rehearsal and performance reports
Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Stage Manager in a theatrical setting
Experience operating a lighting console (ETC experience preferred, if applicable)
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a live production environment
Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive

Position Overview:
Visceral Entertainment is seeking a reliable Wardrobe Supervisor to support an upcoming production at the Apollo Theater Chicago. This role focuses on maintaining costume quality and organization throughout the run, ensuring performers are properly prepped for each performance.

 

Responsibilities:

Daily laundry of costumes and wardrobe pieces
Ironing and steaming garments to performance-ready condition
Pre-setting costumes for actors between performances
Maintaining organization and cleanliness of wardrobe areas
Tracking costume needs and communicating any repairs or issues
Qualifications:

Experience in wardrobe, costume crew, or similar theatrical role preferred
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to manage time efficiently with flexible scheduling
Familiarity with garment care, including laundering and steaming
Ability to sew is a plus
Reliable and able to work independently
