Website Adams Theatre Company
Adams Theatre Company (ATC) is now seeking actors for our upcoming ‘New Year, New Works Festival’, premiering January 2026 as part of our Chicago expansion. ATC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2020 and originated in New Jersey. Every summer we produce free, outdoor musicals featuring young talent both onstage and behind the table, with a mission centered on community, fostering emerging voices, and creating accessible storytelling opportunities. In our fifth year, we are thrilled to bring this new play festival to Chicago and showcase seven new works.
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The New Year, New Works Festival will feature staged readings of seven original plays by emerging playwrights.
Each play will receive two rehearsals, collaborative development time with playwrights and directors, and a public presentation on Friday, January 9th or Saturday, January 10th. Actors can be cast across multiple projects when possible.
