Marketing Director

Adams Theatre Company is a New Jersey 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization that was founded in 2020. Every summer we produce outdoor musicals featuring young talent, both onstage and behind the table. Through this, we aim to engage with the community, foster young voices, and create opportunities for accessible storytelling. We see our spaces as creative laboratories for young artists to explore their creativity and believe that everyone should get the opportunity to work in production roles, regardless of their age or identity.

As we are in our fifth year, we are expanding and making our Chicago debut! We hope to expand opportunities to playwrights through our “New Year, New Works” festival this coming January 2026. Additionally, we plan to expand our season to include a second summer outdoor musical in our new city.

To do this, we need your help! We are hiring for an Engagement & Development Director and a Director of Marketing to assist us in our upcoming growth year. Applications will be reviewed & interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis, but will close on November 24th.

Marketing Director 

Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and creative college student or new graduate to lead marketing and communications for Adams Theatre Company. This individual will create social media graphics and captions across platforms, analyze trends, and handle PR initiatives. This role is part-time and unpaid due to our growing status as a non-profit.

Responsibilities:

• Design and post graphics, photos, and videos across social platforms
• Analyze and track social media and marketing trends
• Establish clear branding ideas and handle media outreach

Qualifications/Skills:

• Interest in marketing and theatre
• Experience with some photo editing or graphic design tools
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Exceptional communicator and collaborator
