The Auditorium Theatre is now seeking applicants for our Professional Intern Cohort! Interns gain hands-on arts administration experience in a professional environment, working side-by-side with industry professionals to apply knowledge from the classroom to real-world situations. Interns also receive a $500 stipend.

Resumes and cover letters will be accepted on a rolling basis for Summer (May-August).

The Development Internship will provide the intern with a multifaceted understanding of the different aspects of development and fundraising in a non-profit theatre setting. This internship will introduce the intern to real world experience in the field of development. Interns gain an understanding of the responsibilities involved in fundraising for a large non-profit theatre, and help  identify new sources of funding, assist in the writing and editing of grants, help with database management, and participate in special events planning.

Requirements for the Development Intern:

Candidate should have strong written, verbal, and analytical skills
Excellent organization
Able to work independently with high productivity
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to commit to 15-20 hours/week for a four month period
