The City is seeking a visionary leader to craft the future of the Woodstock Opera House Performing Arts Center through dynamic strategic and operational leadership.

This year, the Woodstock Opera House, which was built in 1889, was renovated resulting in new lighting and sound systems, a new bar, updated dressing rooms, and redesigned gathering spaces.

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s Degree in Arts Management, Theater, or a related field.  Graduate degree preferred.
Minimum of seven (7) years in senior management or leadership roles within the arts, entertainment or cultural sector.
Strong understanding of theater operations and program management.
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a diverse arts and cultural program.
Qualified to/or possess an Illinois Liquor License.
What would be nice if you have:

Experience working with municipal governments and like community organizations.
Knowledge of regional and national arts programming and funding sources.

SALARY:

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $107,000 to $123,000, based on qualifications of the successful candidate.
