Charles Dickens Begrudgingly Performs 'A Christmas Carol' Again
CLOWNSHOW is seeking an artist/technician hybrid to add to our production team for Charles Dickens Begrudgingly Performs ‘A Christmas Carol’ Again performing at Theater Wit, 1229 W Belmont, Chicago.
Core duties will be adding Christmas decorations to the space, trimming tree, etc. Some painting (we’ll want to match the color of our raised stage to the theater’s specific black stage paint). Some props painting (some sprucing up, some distressing). It’s an existing show that needs some love coming out of storage. But it’s also moving to a new, larger space and we could use an artistic eye to help pull the whole world together.
SCHEDULE
Some prop work could be done before these scheduled dates.
Days for Load-in/Decorating: Saturday, November 29 and Sunday, November 30.
We tech on Monday, Dec 1 and Tuesday, Dec 2, with invited Dress on Wed, Dec 3. Previews are Dec 4 -6, with opening on Dec 7 at 7pm. Perhaps not needed throughout ALL of tech and previews, but some availability to address issues or opportunities as they arise would be ideal.
