Position Overview
Collaboraction Theatre Company is seeking skilled, reliable, and collaborative technicians to join our on-call technician pool. These positions primarily support Collaboraction and partner events and require hands-on, in-house technicians to execute live productions with professionalism and care. Ideal candidates are comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and are committed to creating seamless, high-quality event experiences.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as an on-site technician for Collaboraction events, ensuring smooth execution from load-in through strike
Operate and troubleshoot lighting, sound, and video/projection systems
Collaborate with event staff, visiting artists, and clients to meet technical needs
Assist with setup, programming, and operation of technical equipment
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient working environment
Adapt quickly to changing event needs and timelines
Qualifications
Proficiency in at least two of the following areas (all three preferred):
Theatrical lighting systems and control boards
Live sound reinforcement (mixing, microphones, signal flow)
Video and projection systems
Prior experience in live events, theater, or production environments
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied schedules as needed
