Court Theatre, a department of the University of Chicago in Hyde Park, is seeking candidates for Wardrobe Crew for 2 of its upcoming productions in the 25-26 Season.

* Performances are Wed 10:30am, Wed 7:30pm, Thurs & Fri 7:30pm, Sat & Sun 2pm and 7:30pm
Responsibilities may include: Wardrobe cleaning, prepping, and routine maintenance and small repairs as necessary; Assisting the Wardrobe Supervisor in determining and executing backstage traffic patterns, costume presets and quick changes; Working with the Stage Management team to assist in executing scenic shifts, prop hand-offs, and performing any backstage special effects as needed; Communicating all pertinent information to the Costume Shop Manager, Wardrobe Supervisor, and/or Production Stage Manager promptly.
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills/attributes:
Experience in costume cleaning and small repairs
Experience in a professional tech and run
Compensation:
$22/hr, time and a half after 40 hours.
W2 Wages paid biweekly as an employee of the University of Chicago.
All University of Chicago employees accrue paid sick time in accordance with the City of Chicago’s Paid Sick Leave Ordinance.
