Position Designation: Seasonal Contract

Position Reports To: Wig Supervisor

Opportunity: Drury Lane is seeking a dynamic team player who will work closely with the Wig Supervisor and Wardrobe team to maintain wigs and assist with quick changes in an efficient manner.

Essential Knowledge Required

1-3 years’ experience with running a wig track on large shows and with wig maintenance, styling, and application required.
Proven ability to use all equipment necessary for wig styling and maintenance and familiarity with wig styling and wig care processes.
Cosmetology License a plus.
Sewing skills a plus, basic hand sewing required.
Proven problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
Excellent people skills and ability to work with a wide range of personalities.
Ability to work long hours, including nights and weekends.
Ability to lift 40 lbs. repeatedly.
Ability to go up and down stairs repeatedly.
Reliable transportation required.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate, converse with, and exchange information, use hands and fingers to grab and reach with hands and arms, often required to walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, and often lift or move up to 40 pounds, specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus and specific hearing ability.

Pay and Benefits: 

Starting at $14.00 an hour
