Position Reports To: Managing Director

Position Purposes and Objectives

Under the General Supervision of the Managing Director, the Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting consumer data to provide insights on market conditions, support marketing initiatives and driving decision making across all segments of Drury Lane. Duties include but are not limited to tracking, recording, reporting, and analyzing current and historical data; compiling data for weekly, monthly, and annual reports; analyzing data collected to recognize trends, rises and falls in sales, patron engagement, etc.; preparing and submitting amusement tax and royalty reports; compiling, revising and submitting all patron contact databases for marketing and advertising purposes.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

Monitor market trends, sales performance, and demographic shifts to assess product and service demand.
Evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness by analyzing data and reporting key insights to the Managing and Creative Directors.
Compile market data into comprehensive reports and visualizations for the Marketing team and Senior Management, providing actionable recommendations on pricing, messaging, and overall strategy.
Identify consumer preferences and target markets to enhance audience segmentation for marketing campaigns.
Conduct research on competitor activities, including product offerings, pricing strategies and social media presence.
Execute research projects with timely data collection, analysis, and presentation.
Collect and report sales numbers and revenue generated across the company for daily Executive level reports and historical comparisons.
Collect and report food and beverage costs, labor costs, booking numbers, sales numbers  and revenue generated for weekly Senior Management meetings.
Create and send monthly Lucille/Lounge revenue reports to the Director of Operations and Chief Financial Officer.
Compile appropriate sales information, complete and submit all royalties and amusement tax reports to the Production Office for weekly payment.
Compile patron databases for weekly In-Prep email distribution, update of Constant Contact databases, and database creation for mailing lists, email lists and telemarketing lists.

In-depth understanding of marketing metrics (e.g., CAC, CLV, attribution modeling, conversion rates).
Ability to use critical thinking and decision-making skills to develop actionable insights
Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple research projects and ensure timelines are met
High proficiency in Excel and statistical software for data analysis; familiarity with modern data visualization tools
Strong presentation and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and the capacity to focus in a fast-paced and fluid situation
Excellent and proven ability to problem-solve efficiently and effectively
Understanding and practice of professional behavior within the work environment and willingness to learn, grow and work as part of a team
Proven ability to manage change productively and professionally
Willingness to accept direction and a desire to achieve goals-both set by you and your supervisors

Experience and Knowledge Needed for Position:

High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred
3-5 years of related experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a high level of expertise in Excel required
Proficiency in Ticketmaster and Archtics is a plus
Experience with Caterease preferred but not required
Comfortable handling highly confidential information
Present proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Present proof of  COVID-19 vaccination
Reliable transportation required

Working Conditions and Requirements

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays to complete reports as needed.
Must have reliable transportation.
