Position Designation: Part time, seasonal
Position Reports To: Wardrobe Supervisor
Opportunity: Drury Lane Theatre is seeking a dynamic team player who will train as an additional member of the wardrobe crew and who will step in to cover outages of the full time wardrobe crew.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
● Ensure costumes are ready for all performances.
● Execute wardrobe operations during shows and assist with costume changes as needed.● Assure all laundry is completed on schedule and arrange for weekly dry cleaning of costumes as scheduled.
● Oversee daily costume maintenance and repairs.
● Implement theatre policies and ensure compliance.
● Maintain flexibility in assigned tasks and workflows.
Essential Knowledge Required:
● 1-2 years of professional wardrobe track experience.
● Proficient sewing and alteration skills.
● Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse personalities, demonstrating diplomacy, tact, and firmness.
● Understanding of, and sensitivity to, diverse ethnic, socio-economic, disability, and gender backgrounds.
● Comfortable handling confidential information.
● Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and Google Mail/Calendar.
● Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work flexible hours and lift heavy objects.
● Reliable transportation required.
● Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate, converse with, and exchange information, required to be in stationary seated position, use hands and fingers to grab and reach with hands and arms, occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch, may occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds, specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus and specific hearing abilities
