Deck Crew- Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story

Position Designation: Contract-Hourly (Overtime Eligible)

Position Reports To: Technical Director

 

Position Purpose and Objectives

Under the broad supervision of the Technical Director, the Deck Crew staff are responsible for moving scenery and large property/furniture items as assigned, and filling in other run crew roles as needed for each production. Deck Crew positions will responsible for maintaining their workspace, assisting with show notes on scenery as assigned, and running an assigned deck or spot track during performances.

 

Specific Job Responsibilities

1.       Running their assigned track for each technical rehearsal, preview, and performance, including setting props and furniture before each performance.

2.      Maintaining the appropriate show track paper work, as assigned by stage management, to keep it current with assigned track.

3.     Performing day-to-day maintenance as assigned by the Deck Crew Chief, including performing a minimum of 6 hours of work calls outside of show calls each week.

Experience and Knowledge Required

·       1-2 years experience in a deck crew position

·       Reliable transportation required.

Crew View- August 6th, 2026 @ 10:30a or August 8th, 2026 @ 1p
Tech Week- August 12th thru 16th, 2026
Previews and Additional Rehearsals: August 19th – 26th, 2026
Press Opening: August 26th, 2026 7p
Show Run: August 27th, 2026 – October 11th, 2026
Possible Extension Week: October 14th- 18th,2026
