Ghostlight Ensemble asks questions that challenge the status quo

Ghostlight Ensemble is seeking a Stage Manager for its fall production of American Son by Christopher Demos-Brown.

American Son follows an estranged biracial couple who must confront their feelings about race and bias after their son is detained by the local police following a traffic stop incident. Their disparate histories and backgrounds inform their assumptions as they try to find out what happened to their son.

Stage Manager will attend all rehearsals and performances. Rehearsals in August and September, 2026. Three to four rehearsals a week on weeknights or weekend days, to be scheduled according to cast availability.

Production Schedule:
Tech week: Sunday, September 13 in the afternoon and Monday, September 14 through Thursday, September 17 in the evenings.

Performances: Show will run Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday evenings and Sunday afternoon matinees from Thursday, September 17 through Sunday, October 4, 2026.

Strike: Sunday, October 4, 2026.
