OVERVIEW OF POSITION:
The Goodman Theatre seeks an Assistant Properties Supervisor to be a part of our production team for the 9 show season, including our annual production of A Christmas Carol. The Assistant Properties Supervisor will work collaboratively with the Prop Supervisor in all aspects of running the properties department which includes coordinating with the props staff to ensure timely and efficient workflow of projects, aid in communicating with designers and stage managers on all productions, work on load-in and load-out crews, track expenses for the props department, coordinate of rentals, and work on special projects as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Work collaboratively as a team member and maintain a positive attitude
• Two to three years professional props experience
• Knowledge and experience with prop construction methods and techniques
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Quicken. Experience with AutoCAD and Photoshop are beneficial
• Ability to repeatedly lift, push or maneuver 50-70lbs, either alone or with assistance from others as well as scale ladders and work in high places
• Must have own vehicle and applicable insurance to use vehicle for work purposes, a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, and able to operate vehicles in inclement weather
• This position can require some evening and weekend hours on an as needed basis.

POSITION DETAILS:
This is a full-time, non-union hourly position with a rate of $24.00 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, paid vacation, sick leave, and 401k.
