The Goodman Theatre is seeking a Production Office Coordinator to be an integral part of the Production Department. The successful candidate will administer the day-to-day functions of the production department. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and able to work in an always changing environment.

Responsibilities:

o   Oversee week to week production accounting and reporting with Production Department Supervisors and Business Office.

o   Create and Update season calendar and dates in collaboration with the Director of Production

o   Maintain Goodman Arts Vision calendar and work with the rest of the Goodman team to keep requests and information current.

o    Administer, collect, and update information in production databases, Teams, and reference materials.

o   Facilitate designer and crew contracting, travel, housing, and payments with Director of Production, General Management, Human Resources, and Business Office.

o   Review and process time cards with Production Department Supervisors and Business Office.

o   Coordinate onboarding for all new Production Staff in collaboration with Human Resources and department supervisor.

o   Assist Director of Production in creating season budgets and labor projections.

o   Schedule, and support Production Department meetings and objectives

o   Assist Production Office and Events department in creation of event estimates, and support of events as needed.

o   Work with Director of Production to track and maintain budgets for equipment repair and replacement.

o   Model behavior and values consistent with Goodman’s Community Agreements and furthering Goodman’s IDEAA(inclusion, diversity, equity, anti-racism and access) goals.

o   Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:

o   2 years of experience in theatre production or administration

o   Strong interest in organizational Diversity Equity and Inclusion programs

o   Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations

o   Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, track, and follow up to ensure all tasks and duties are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

o   Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and computer and database skills

Pay Rate/Range*: $38,000 - $42,000
