ISO dependable Stage Manager with extensive music and AV experience for the Chicago cast of the two-woman, touring comedy show, The Pump and Dump Show. Must be a creative problem solver who can not only manage and support the cast traveling with them, but handle technical variances and issues that arise from venue to venue with determination and chill. All travel is paid for. Fee paid per show.

Rehearsals are paid and located in Chicago Mon-Fri, Aug 12-23. All traveling tour dates will be set in stone by mid September for the Fall tour (end of September – beginning of December with holiday weeks off). Tour continues in February and goes through July. Team will travel to 4-6 shows per month, with dates grouped together – for example: Wednesday/Thursday of one week and then Wednesday/Thursday/Friday of another week.

Working knowledge of the following is required:
Electric acoustic guitar, plugins, tuner
Electric keyboard
Large and small scale PA’s and sound systems including DI boxes, AV cords, adapters, mixers
Wireless and wired microphones
Large and small scale lighting grids including traditional lights and LED (ability to focus and change gels on lights a major plus)
Projector and screen set up while used with a laptop off stage
Powerpoint and/or Keynote
Tour with two cast members to all shows; most shows are generally within your state’s region
Drive the cast to driveable/regional shows and rent and drive rental car when necessary with air travel
Travel with all production tech equipment (provided)
Work with Tour Manager and Director of Operations with any advancing prior to each show
Set up all sound and lighting and all stage equipment prior to each show
Run pre-show music from your phone or in coordination with the venue
Run a keynote or powerpoint presentation from a laptop during the show
Run sound and/or lights either in coordination with theatre tech crew or by yourself
Coordinate and troubleshoot any issues regarding the production of the show with theatre/club staff
Strike stage and pack all tech cases and instruments
Manage ground transportation (uber, hired drivers etc) for yourself and the cast
Keep spirits up, cast focused and emergencies rectified
Send after-show reports to Tour Manager

Must have:
Clean driving record
Clean criminal record
