HGBIC Productions is seeking an organized, dependable, and collaborative Stage Manager for our original jazz musical, Midnight At Sunset Cafe. Set in Chicago’s legendary Sunset Café during the height of the Jazz Age, this production celebrates the music, culture, and icons who helped shape American entertainment.
Responsibilities
Attend and stage manage all rehearsals and performances.
Record blocking, rehearsal notes, and production reports.
Coordinate communication between the director, cast, and production team.
Call cues during performances.
Help maintain a positive, professional rehearsal environment.
Rehearsal Schedule
Thursdays: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturdays: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Performance Schedule
February 4–27, 2027
Performance call: 7:30 PM
Approximate end time: 11:00 PM
Compensation
$600 stipend
