We need a sound designer for our upcoming production of PIPPIN and sound technicians with enough experience to run a cabaret in a 140 perfectly acoustic house.
Production Dates: Sept 5 – 28, 2025
Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30
Sundays at 2:00 pm
Cabaret weekend – Oct 3 – 5, 2025
Duties of the Sound Designer include:
Must have some experience with live musical performance.
Making himself available to Musical Director if necessary, or attending specified production meetings.
Attending rehearsals as deemed necessary by the Director
Working with orchestra led by Musical Director to insure balanced sound for production
Acquiring any equipment necessary to execute the design (no purchases without permission). Determine need for additional microphone (possibly) and/or headsets
Performing any wiring or equipment hookup required to execute the design
Execution of the design during performances
Engineer sound for the production
Attending to any needed changes that may be required during tech rehearsals or performances.
Sound Engineer may hire a substitute to perform his duties. However, he must provide written account of the contact information for the person who will replace them.
