The League of Chicago Theatres (the League) is seeking a Member Services Manager who will serve a key role in fulfilling our mission.
This is a newly created full-time, salaried position with benefits, reporting to the Executive Director. The Membership Manager will be responsible for communications with more than 200 member theatres. Communication between League members and League staff is crucial to the success of our organization and the Membership Manager acts as the main point of contact between the members and the staff. The Membership Manager will be responsible for the recruitment, retention and renewal of members of the League. They will work with members to assess needs and with League staff to provide resources and programs. The membership manager will also update websites, approve and post content on websites and keep member information updated across various platforms. This position will require superb communication skills as well as attention to detail and ability to discover, assess and circulate new information. The member services manager will be expected to work some nights and weekends.
The successful candidate for this position will have a familiarity with Chicago theatre and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and attention to detail. They will have some (1-2 years) experience in a customer service or membership environment. They will be internet and tech savvy and have experience with Microsoft Office and it is preferred that they have experience using the following: Word Press, Salesforce, Constant Contact and Google Docs.
