Wardrobe Crew

Metropolis Performing Arts Centre is seeking two wardrobe crew members/dressers for our upcoming
production of Grease. Wardrobe crew members would need to be available for technical rehearsals,
previews, and five performances per week. $23/hour.

• Tech rehearsals – September 12, 13, 14
• Final dress rehearsal – September 16
• Previews – September 17, 18, 19, 20 (matinee)
• Opening performance – September 20
• Final performance – October 19

Duties include –

• Assisting with quick changes during performances as needed. Comfort with backstage spaces is required.
• Taking care of Laundry and coordinating dry cleaning after each weekend’s final performance.
• Keeping costumes in presentable condition in coordination with actors and designers.
• Making minor repairs as needed, including rips, fasteners, etc. Basic sewing skills are required.
• Assisting cast members with hair and Makeup when/if needed.
• Aiding in ensuring the cleanliness of all dressing and backstage areas.
• Assisting Stage Management as needed before, durin,g and after performances.
