Metropolis Performing Arts Center in Arlington Heights is seeking an experienced, non-Equity Stage Manager for the run of The Play That Goes Wrong, directed by Johanna McKenzie Miller with Fight Direction by Nick Sandys.

  • First rehearsal is scheduled for January 20, 2026.
  • Technical rehearsals begin February 18, 2026
  • First Preview is February 25, 2026
  • Press Opening is February 28, 2026
  • Closing Performance March 22, 2026
  • Possible Extension to March 29, 2026

All rehearsals and performances take place at Metropolis Performing Arts Center, 111 W. Campbell Street in Arlington Heights, IL. There is a Metra Station two blocks from the venue. Some weekday daytime availability may be necessary.

  • Rehearsal Stipend is $2500
  • Per performance pay for all previews and performances is $90 (21 performances with a possibility of a five-show extension).
