Midsommer Flight seeks an organized and proactive individual to serve as House Manager for this summer’s outdoor production of AS YOU LIKE IT, touring to six Chicago parks.
The House Manager will oversee and administer all free reservations for the production, including but not limited to setting up and monitoring the online event, responding to patron questions via email, sending reminder emails prior to performances, and sending weather cancellation emails as needed. The House Manager will also attend every performance to greet and assist patrons, help with set up and teardown of a front-of-house table and tent, collect donations, and send a house report for each performance to the producer.
Time Commitment: training and online event set-up will begin immediately upon hiring in May, with maintenance ongoing through the end of the production run. Performances run June 26 through August 2, on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 6 PM. The House Manager will be called an hour prior to performance time and and will stay through the end of the performance and teardown, until approximately 8:00 PM. There is one Thursday performance at 6 PM on July 2, and no performance on Saturday, July 4.
