Nederlander National Markets, LLC, a Nederlander Presentation based in Chicago, is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to assist with essential Audience Development matters for the organization’s Broadway series presented in 20+ markets throughout the country. This position will cultivate and coordinate Group Sales initiatives in 7 of our partner markets.

This position is based in Chicago (in person) and will report directly to the Director of Operations.

The ideal candidate is a motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent organization and administrative skills, a passion for engaging with patrons while providing excellent customer service and a desire for creating and sustaining a comfortable and inclusive environment for our diverse audiences. Attention to detail and strong communication are critical, as well as the ability to maintain and pivot to multiple projects and liaise with multiple departments within the organization and with venue teams. Ability to pick up new software skills is required; experience with various ticketing systems strongly preferred.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Manage and maintain Group Sales database by tracking leads, sales statuses, revenue collected and commissions
  • Administer and organize all Group contracts and invoices, curating them based on the various partner market and venue
  • Provide excellent customer service to patrons purchasing and inquiring about Group Tickets
  • Collaborate with appropriate venue box office teams to process Group orders, including seating requests and coordination of payment
  • Work with the Operations team to create group sales settlements on a show-by-show basis
  • Liaise with Marketing team to determine what visibility and outlets are needed to cultivate group acquisitions
  • Research, build and maintain community relationships
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years previous experience in Arts Administration, Audience Development, Group Sales and/or Ticketing
    Knowledge of Ticketing and various Ticketing Systems (such as Archtics, Ticketmaster, Etix, Tessitura, etc.) preferred
  • Previous experience with Contracts and Invoicing preferred
  • Administrative skills, including knowledge of MS packages (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop new software skills and manage multiple projects at once

REPORTING: Indirect report to Vice President of NNM; Direct report to Director of Operations

WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time, non-exempt.  This is a Monday through Friday, in-office position based in our Chicago office. This position will be at least 25, but up to 29, hours per week; general office hours are 9am – 5pm.
