· Participate in the mainstage season as mutually agreed upon, i.e. an assistant director, dramaturg, or other production support.

· Actively foster relationships with directors and writers, with a view to future workshops and productions at Northlight.

· Assist the Artistic Team with developing Northlight’s artistic programs in line with the company’s vision and mission statements within given resources.

· Shadow Artistic Director on a variety of leadership meetings; administrative meetings, donor asks, special events, city planning meetings (new space), etc.

· A bachelor’s degree in a theatrical discipline or at least two years’ experience in a professional theatre.

· Reside in (or be able to relocate to) the Chicago area.

· Have a strong desire to work in an artistic department at a mid-sized theatre.
