Producing Associate – (Marketing and Front of House Management)

Pegasus Theatre is searching for a driven, dynamic candidate to join our team! The Producing Associate will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of duties, including marketing, audience services, and ensuring that our Front of House runs smoothly. You will have a hand in bringing our annual Young Playwrights Festival (YPF) to the stage, among other productions and events.

Who We Are

Pegasus Theatre develops and produces boldly imaginative theatre, and champions diverse, new and authentic voices primarily by and about Black and other people of color. We are dedicated to examining social issues on stage and engaging in arts education programs that develop the next generation of writers, thinkers and game changers. Our annual Young Playwrights Festival is in its 38th year!

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Promote productions and other events through regular e-mail campaigns
• Create and post promotional content for social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
• List shows with LOCT
• Keep website up-to-date
• Set up shows and track sales through Audience View, Today Tix and HotTix
• Coordinate accessibility performances
• Train and Manage Front of House / Box Office associates

Requirements

• At least 1 year experience in theater management, marketing, or related field
• At least 1 year experience in FOH/BO or similar patron-facing role
• A self-starter and collaborator
• Alignment with Pegasus’s mission and values
• Must be available for all training/onboarding dates (TBD)

The ideal candidate will have familiarity working with the following (or the ability to learn quickly):

• Mailchimp (or similar email marketing software)
• AudienceView (or similar CRM/ticketing software)
• Wordpress (or similar website editing software)
• Social Media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
