About the show:
“Feeling unheard both at work and in her relationship, Celia initiates a roleplay game wherein her older boyfriend plays her employer’s estranged husband. The game helps Celia learn to stand her ground during conflicts, but it also has consequences for her employer’s family.  A play about power and control within both romantic and professional relationships, Queen of Sock Pairing employs meta-theatricality, comedic and naturalistic scenes, and rhythmically driving narration to paint a vivid story while de-stigmatizing ideas behind kink and sex. Above all, it is a show about finding freedom in play and learning dominance through imitation.”
