Stage Manager

J’UNCLE is a charming, original story about a guy who is the king of his castle and lives life on his own terms. Never mind that his castle is his younger brother’s tool garage and his terms… well, they’ve landed him in his little brother’s tool garage. The script examines family relationships, societal expectations and norms, and what it means to ‘live’ in the modern world.

Rehearsals will start in March. Four rehearsals a week for 2 to 3 hours each.
A schedule will be worked out at our first read – as soon as we fill out the team.
The space(s), tbd, will be in a central to all/most/as many as possible; actors all live off the Red Line.

Already scheduled at Jarvis Square Theatre, 1439 West Jarvis:
Rehearsal on April 7th and 8th from 6 to 9 pm.
Tech is April 13th – 15th. Possible preview the 15th.
Performances are April 16th – May 3rd; Thurs, Fri, Sat @ 7:30 and Sun @ 3:00.

Standard Stage Manager expectations: be at all rehearsals, take blocking notes, remind us of the blocking, run the board during the show (there will be minimal cues), and the everything else that SMs do. The rehearsal process will be very collaborative; every perspective helps.
