Production Manager

Simple Theatre has returned to Chicago!  We are ready to produce shows.  We’re looking for people to join our company!  Find us at SimpleTheatre.org.

We do things a little different than most theatres.  Although we are – were and always will be – a registered not-for-profit organization, in the 2000s Simple Theatre created profitable shows; we intend to replicate and, as the capitalist say, “scale up” that business model.

Cast and crew will receive, off the top, a small percentage of each purchased ticket.  Then, once costs are recouped – the more successful the show, the more everyone profits.  All specifics and details will be discussed, agreed up, and we will create a simple agreement that we will sign prior to working together.

We need all types of help, but to start we are looking for a Stage Manager/Production Manager.
