Studio North Academy of the Performing Arts, or SNAP, located directly off of the CTA Purple Line and close to Metra in Wilmette, is seeking positive, motivated and qualified dance instructors for Fall 2025 and beyond! Competitive pay and benefits.
Potential candidates should possess great knowledge in their chosen genres, a strong training and performance background, a love for children, great patience and understanding, ability to work with all levels, and a willingness to help create a syllabus. Our community of teachers and students is warm and welcoming. Our SNAP staff is focused, responsible, reliable and dependable, and has a team mentality.
Specifically, we are seeking instructors for Monday evenings to teach 3rd year Ballet and Jazz, plus Intermediate (5th year) Ballet and Pointe, and a Dance Company Director to teach Company class, choreograph and clean our competitive routines teams. on the weekends, execute data entry work for competitions and other administrative tasks, and to attend every competition weekend. Car required. The Director position has a potential of 25-30 hours per week.
