The Den Theatre is a multi-level live entertainment venue with seven unique theater spaces and three bars/lounge areas. We produce some of Chicago’s finest plays, musicals, standup comedy, and live music. Now celebrating our tenth year, we are looking for a creative and resourceful Marketing Manager with a true passion for what they do who can take us to the next level.

-Manage marketing campaigns for all The Den productions and events from ideation to execution including social media strategy.
-Maintain and update all digital assets including social media, press announcements, and alternative communication methods.
-Coordinate closely with PR Manager on all press releases.
-Measure and report to the Owner on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
-Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics as well as social media engagement to help build strong connections with The Den audiences.
-Build and cultivate strategic relationships with key industry players, agencies, and vendors expanding the reach of The Den as a brand.
-Work with visiting artists and other resident theater companies of The Den to keep all branding consistent and on message.
-Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely.
-Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
-Communicate with social media followers, respond in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
-Find ways to build hype through social media by utilizing strong press in real time.

-5+ years working in marketing and/or communications preferred.
-Experience successfully implementing and managing marketing campaigns.
-Familiar with Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Hootsuite or other comparable web and social media tracking applications.
-Trained in utilizing social media for promotional business purposes.
-Must be available some nights and weekends to be present at important The Den events.
-Background in live theater and/or entertainment preferred.
-Possess a high level of professionalism, integrity, and initiative.
-Must have excellent writing and proofreading skills, plus strong oral and interpersonal skills.
-Interest in supporting a growing arts and entertainment brand.

This is a full-time position with health benefits and paid vacation days. Salary DOE.
