SUMMARY:
Theater Wit seeks an experienced Technical Director to join our team for the Remount of our Christmas show Who’s Holiday. The set is built and in storage. Individual will need to transport and reassemble set in space and repair/replace parts determined by the Production Manager during 2 day load in.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze scenic designs and current set pieces, estimate replacement build costs with the Production Manager.
Update working drawings for Scenic Construction.
Hire Overhire Labor for Load-In and Strike
Collaborate with the Production Manager to ensure all purchasing needs are met
Oversee and lead scenic load-in/builds.
Maintain scenic supply budgets and keep accurate records of purchases, submitting in a timely manner to the Production Manager
Attend all load-in/load-outs, leading as necessary
Work with the Production Manager to ensure stage area is safe, clean, and maintained
DATES:
Scenic Load-in: Monday, November 18th, 2024 – Wednesday, November 19th, 2024
Tech: Tuesday, November 26th, 2024 through Wednesday, November 27th, 2024
Opening: Friday, November 29th, 2024
Closing: Sunday, December 29, 2024
Strike: Monday, December 30th, 2024
