Stage Manager

Three of Cups Theatre is looking for a Stage Manager for their show, GOD IN A HOLE by Hannah Baker and the Three of Cups ensemble and directed by Ashley Connell. Production managed by Abby Beggs.

The Stage Manager will attend all rehearsals, performances, and production meetings.

The Stage Manager will provide practical and organizational support to the director, actors and designers throughout the production process. They will also be the director’s representative during performances, making sure that the production runs smoothly. While Three of Cups will have a company representative at each performance to manage the house, the Stage Manager will be responsible for the production elements of the performance.

The Stage Manager will work side-by-side with the director and head writer during rehearsals, recording decisions about blocking and notes for the actors, keeping track of logistical and scheduling details and communicating what goes on in rehearsals to the rest of the team.

Key Dates:

Rehearsals (ASAP-9/30):

Mondays 7-10pm at The Edge of Broadway

Saturdays 11am-2pm at Rooted Space

Tech rehearsals: evenings from 9/28-9/30, Load in 9/28 (daytime)

Performances:

10/1, 10/2, 10/3, 10/4,

10/8, 10/9, 10/10, 10/11,

10/15, 10/16, 10/17
All shows will be at 7:30 pm except for Sundays (bolded) which will be at 2:30pm.

About the show: 

GOD IN A HOLE is a new devised, dark absurdist comedy, written by Hannah Baker in collaboration with the Three of Cups Ensemble and directed by Ashley Connell. GOD IN A HOLE is set in a far-future society grappling with high-control religion, nuclear fall out, and the cycles of human nature.
