This is a part-time position that requires some evening and weekend availability with certain blackout dates. All Audience Services Associates are cross-trained in box office, bartending and house management as part of the position and each individual will work a mixture of these three roles over the course of each month.
Experience in a patron-facing/customer-facing job (does not have to be theater related)
Ability to “think on your feet” and adapt to changes quickly
Strong sense of teamwork and ability to work with others
Desire to learn Front of House operations
Ability to give/receive open and honest feedback
Endless optimism and a love for the arts, especially for the value of new work
Friendly and supportive personality, both on the phone and off
Strong sense of ethics, and doing whats right for the customer
Comfortable with technology including the Microsoft Office suite and Google apps.
Nice to have (but not required):
Prior Box Office experience and/or knowledge of ticketing software

Exposure to Chicago theater community at a Tony Award-winning regional theatre
